just a while back i had this labbed up on a windows xp machine 4gb ram and
dual core (not exact the processor it was just a lab machine i had at
work)...

i was running Cisco IOS Software, 3700 Software (C3745-SPSERVICESK9-M),
Version 12.4(15)T9, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc5) on GNS3...

it ran really well and gave me the basic view that i think i need for the
lab anyway, as OER/PfR is a huge subject and has to be processor intense
even on real gear...
