Dear Experts,
Regarding the power calculation for a Cisco 6509 switch I am doing, I
noticed that the current it requires is 44 A. However as per my knowledge
both power supplies work in redundant mode, thus each power supply should
have an input current of 44 A. If changing to combined mode then both power
supplies will intake a total current of 44 A. However on the core switch
there are two power plugs connecting into one power supply, are these
redundant/combined, i.e. do I have to assume that each power cable will have
an input current of 22A so that one power supply gets the 44 A ?
Thank You
