OT: Cooking for Geeks

Hiya!

Just saw this new book pop up on Safari that made me laugh!

Cooking for Geeks: Real Science, Great Hacks, and Good Food

If you're a programmer, hacker, or maker who is interested in learning how
to cook, this book is for you. In this book, I'll cover the basics of
cooking and provide a number of simple and fun recipes as part of the food
hacking experiments, while at the same time exploring the science behind the
example recipes to allow you to start discovering your own style.

Here in Australia we have a TV show which is called Masterchef... All these
candidates are placed into scenario's where there is a time limit and they
have to make the best meal, within the constraints of the challenge, usually
they are limited with the ingredients and time, etc... I think anyone who
has trained for the CCIE and read the above book might have a good chance of
winning the competition!!
