CCIE SP Track

All,
Any idea about the changes that's going to happen to SP track ? I am
concerned that SP track may be retired as per some of the conversations here
lately. Just want to find out whats gonna happen before i purchase study
materials. Also does any vendor will refund in an event of a track being
retired ?
