Masroor,

This is a very open question, and it cant be answered in 1 line. I guess
you'll have to go through redistribution theory and im sure u will
understand the reason. Anyways just a 50,000 feet overview is e.g U r
running 2 routing protocols say, OSPF and EIGRP on a router and you want
both the IGPs and there connected routers/networks to be reachable by both
sides, so u redistribute both IGPs into one another. If that redistribution
is not done properly or if not filtered correctly u'll end up looping the
routes since both the IGPs believe that the said network is reachable by the
other side. AD plays a vital role and normally tagging the routes is the
solution. As I said this is a very vague question and it will definately
need some understanding....
