Hello Team,
I have a hard team believing that 1 person has the router/switch
infrastructure password for the entire city of San Francisco. Having worked
myself previously for the Dade County here in Miami, Fl, we had a team of 4
engineers, and not 1 person was the keeper of the passwords, that could only
log into the device. Again I have a tough time believing that he was the
only person on call every night, I am sure there were other network
engineers. But if he did change all the passwords and kept to himself and
not communicate to the team, than he gets what he deserves, and I'm sure he
will have a very hard time securing employment in the future as a Network
Engineer. I think certification becomes irrelevant at this point. I am sure
that he had to sign company policies and agreements when he got hired.
Just my .02c
