Hi David,
TCP window scaling is a mechanism to adopt more window size, which is
greater than the default 2^16 which equals to 65,535 (16 bit window field
size)
For high performance/ high bandwidth segment this value has to be increased,
i.e when the bandwidth*delay product has to be greater than 65,535.
Cisco by default gives the value of 65,535 for the window scaling and since
your question tells double the maximum default size its 65,535 * 2 = 131,070
If Window scaling is not configured the default is 4128.
