Hi All,
I want to share my success story with all of u guys, Finally I got my CCIE
#26345(RS) on July 1st.
This is my second attempt, I have taken the Test last year(v3) in July , but
failed.
My Journey started in late 2007 preparing for CCIE Written Test and I passed
it in 2008 June.
Then started labbing and take my first attempt in July 2009 which was a
disater because i did not manage my time well and also CCIE Lab exam is not
so simple that you can configure each task and u will pass, there are some
tasks which have some dependency to the later tasks, that is why u need to
have the whole picture of the Lab and before u start config a task see
whether it will break the earlier task.
After I failed last year i could not get the dates immediately on V3,so i
had to wait for V4 and then waiting for vendors to come out with some
workbooks on Troubleshooting.
Now for the second attempt I thought i would not take chance so i thought to
register for a bootcamp,
After hearing a lot about Narbik, I registered for his bootcamp.
After attending his bootcamp, whatever i heard about Narbik is really True.
"NARBIK is the BEST TEACHER" among all the teachers i have met so far. It is
unfair to call him a CCIE Instructor.
Long before I have attended the bootcamp I had access to his Foundation WB's
which are very good to learn the core part(OSPF, RIP, BGP and EIGRP)
But once we get to the bootcamp we had access to the Bootcamp 2.0 WB, TS and
Advanced CCIE WB's. These are the excelent materials i have found so far.
I could manage to complete the TS Labs, Bootcamp 2.0 WB Labs , but only half
way on Advanced CCIE WB's as my CCIE Lab date approached faster than I think
of.
But I really advice all the ccie aspirants to complete all 3 of them,
because the confidence level would be really different after you complete
all of them.
Now coming back to Narbik, man every word he teaches he has a lab for that
in his WB's, The last day of the bootcamp he has advice, they really matter
and we can really succeed if we follow his words.
Time is most important factor in the Lab, even if we know everything in the
Lab we only have six hours for configuration,
After passing the Lab I must say this, if we do all the 3 (TSLabs, Bootcamp
2.0 WB and Advance CCIE WB) from Narbik and manage the time well in the
exam, there will be noway u can fail.
Narbik's TSLabs are very deep, u learn a lot of stuff while solving each
trouble ticket, they are very complex and make the real lab scenario's look
very simple.
As I did not do any other vendors Workbooks I donot have any comments for
them.
I dont know what i will be doing later but now I need to spend sometime with
my family.
Good luck to all of the CCIE Aspirants.
