advertising networks in ospf

Hello group ,

when in lab if we are asked to advertise a network ... should i only do it
with network command or can i also do it at interface level ..
i feel much comfortable configuring at interface rather than using network
command and also since most of the times the wildcard we use is confined to
0.0.0.0 i dont see any problem in using that way .... is this the right
approach or is there any other reason behind using network command .... as i
see most of the solutions use network command as their primary
configuration
