IPv6 NAT-PT - Prefix

Hello,
I'm having a little of an issue with NAT-PT in IPv6. I understand why you
configure the "ipv6 nat v4v6... " and ipv6 nat v6v4", but why do you have to
configure the "ipv6 nat prefix..."? What is the function of that last
command? Any help or pointers to an answer is greatly appreciated.
