P.S
I knew there was something else I will put this in the (Not so technical, technical question section)
... does anyone have a hard and fast rule for what a fragmentation and bc size should be when prioritising (and ensuring interleaving) VOIP packets in FRTS. I know they will be different depending on the CIR of the interface but I seemed to have read conflicting articles, and want to ensure I am doing it right.

Subject: 2 days to go....
In to the final stretch now of my preparation for the R&S lab.
There are a few niggling questions I have my head, and I would appreciate it if anyone could help. They may be answered somewhere so I apologize for doubling up, but I have only had time for a really brief look as I need to get back to the labs!!
I will break them up.
Technical
- What is the default window scaling size? I know the tcp window size is 4128, but I was asked a question about enabling the window scaling size up to twice the maximum of the default. The answer was 131072, but I was never able to find anything on the default size to see how the answer was derived.
- If a subnet is not part of an IGB, but the start of the lab always asks for full reachability at the end, should I redistribute is as connected? I do as a rule, but I would like to be 100% sure so I dont lose points.
- If I put non intrusive acls/no ip route-cache on for testing, do I lose points if I dont remove them?
Not Technical
- Do they provide an adequate amount of colored pens/pencils and paper? I seem to go through about a tree for every mock lab so I want to make sure they will give me enough.
Not so Technical (I think I have OSPF on the brain!!)
- Does anyone have any tips to help me in the lab? I have used everything INE have thought me so far, but was just wondering if anyone done(does) anything that helped them, especially around note taking. I seem to have trouble with reading through the full paper and documenting how one question affects another, by the time I get to about section 6 and above I always forget what the lab asked for in the opening parts!!
Thanks very much, any help is much appreciated. I have been greatful for all the assistance so far, special thanks to Anthony Sequeira(Your mock lab thought me so much), and Narbik. I just hope I pass now, I am heading home to Ireland for a much needed holiday and I dont want to have to bring the books.
Please unicast replies as I am out of the office and I can access the folder my groupstudy mails go directly into.
