Not to get involved with the GS drama, but I do have another "unsolicited GS
testimonial" for Narbik and a few other guys that I met this week at Cisco
Live.
I am one of the students Narbik mentioned that recently passed the R&S lab ,
it was last week in San Jose. So I added a second ccie to my number.
I personally attended Narbik's CCIE bootcamp last fall and thought it was
great, moreover Narbik's (and Janet's) commitment to help each and every
student to pass the lab was more impressive. I used his material, GS
archives, and some of the cisco sponsored partner labs to study.
So this week I met Marko, Eman, and other members of the CCIE community
while I was out here. They are all a bunch of great people, and yes they are
trying to make a living out of helping all of us. But they don't
discriminate who they help. So whether they solicit comments or not, I
personally have no problems with it. The best advertising is word of mouth,
and in this virtual world it group lists like this, social networks,
podcasts, etc... whatever gets the word out. My dad is a small businessman
and he has a sign up in his shop that says "If you are happy with our
service, please tell everyone you know. If you are not please tell us, so we
can make it right."
Thanks again to all the people I met this week, and thanks to everyone that
is on GS for helping out.
Have a great holiday weekend!
