7609 ICMP dropped traffic

Hi,

I have a 7609 router in production. when i connected directly to the
management interface and i ping the router with a packet bigger than 600 bytes
some of my traffic gets dropped and i received request timed out !

The cpu is only 17 % utilized

CPU utilization for five seconds: 17%/16%; one minute: 12%; five minutes: 13%

any ideas ?
