I would highly recommend you watch the recorded vLecture called "How I
Passed CCIE R&S v4.0" that I did couple of weeks ago. I cover time
management and lab-day strategy in great detail there. Here is the

Also, we cover lab preparation and taking strategy *extensively* in
all of our instructor led classes, as well as audio and video
products. This is one of the most important aspects of the
preparation, that many people and training vendors neglect very much.
