Redundant Supervisor keeps rebooting

Hello everyone, I ran into a situation last night during an IOS upgrade and
wanted to see if anyone has seen this before. We have 6509's with Sup 720s
currently running 12.2(33)SXH and we were trying to upgrade to 12.2(33)SXI.
We uploaded the code into the bootflash on both sup's, reset the redundant
sup, waited til it came online and then forced a failover. The line cards
rebooted (as was expected) and everything was working normally. So, we reset
the newly redundant sup and it goes into state of constantly resetting
itself with the following error:

Jun 18 04:27:09.394 EDT: %RF-SP-5-RF_RELOAD: Peer reload. Reason: RF Client
Cat6k Power(1318) notification timeout
Jun 18 04:27:09.394 EDT: %OIR-SP-3-PWRCYCLE: Card in module 5, is being
power-cycled 'RF Client Cat6k Power(1318) notification timeout'
Jun 18 04:27:09.418 EDT: %RF-SP-3-NOTIF_TMO: Notification timer Expired for
RF Client: Cat6k Power(1318)

The only workaround was to wait until that small window between resets and
put the sup's into rpr mode instead of sso. Has anyone seen this?

Thanks!
