Ashwin,

I have deployed ACE in 2 of my Data Centers. I am not totally sure of the
design you are trying to reach. ACE & WAAS do 2 different things, ACE does
load balancing across servers or other devices, while WAAS is can do TCP
acceleration (depending on your specific deployment).

In some designs (one arm NAT mode) ACE it is possible to do application load
balancing between 2 application servers in different geographic regions (I
don't recommend it) but in that type of design you might really want to look
at Global site selector as well. Keep in mind that you will still have the
issue of latency and/or bandwidth across your WAN if the 2 app servers are
in different physical locations. That might be the place where WAAS over
your WAN might help improve back end or even front end performance depending
on your deployment.

It sounds like you need to speak directly with your Cisco Account team and
review your projects requirements and design.
