Dear Experts,

I have the following question regarding the WLC scenario:

1.From my understanding, the WLC will define all the SSIDs on the
leightwieght APs and define their associated VLANs. This necessarily means
that the port connected to the WLC will have to be configured as a trunk
from the switch side. The management interface on the WLC can be set in any
OOB management VLAN, however the AP-Manager interface on the switch side has
to be configured as a trunk (allowing the management VLAN/as well as the
service VLANs); is this the correct understanding?
2. From the viewpoint of the APs, the port in which the AP is connected can
be configured as an access port only (management VLAN) and then when the
user connects to one SSID (GUEST for instance), the traffic is tunneled
through the LWAPP tunnel to the WLC and placed in the correct VLAN?

Your assistance is highly appreciated!

Best Regards,
