Hi Guys,
I have inherited a network which includes a Cisco Content Switches to do
load balancing between multiple Web Servers.
Our web infrastructure is Windows /IIS based.
I'm looking for a replacement for the Content switches at the moment.
Many people on this list have suggested F5 load balancers but this is a no
go for us - its just outside our budget.
I've been looking at a couple of different options including HAProxy on
Debian and Varnish on FreeBSD but I'm not convinced of either.
I just wanted to put this out there to see what other people are using
successfully with IIS.
I'm certainly open to any suggestions both paid and free/open source.
Thanks in advance,
Shane
