Hi Charles,
you r probably right , I didn't gave enough info about the problem.

I was restoring the MTU value back to 1500 using "default mtu" command at
the Interface level.

So I didn't observe any problem ( didn't lost vty, snmp polling/monitoring
to 6509 was ok ). But traffic to all VM and servers connected to my cisco
switch was lost.

I checked my syslog server too, no thing too (no STPD or Supervisor issue
... )

In CiscoBug Toolkit , they didn't talk about any "bad impact" of changing
value of MTU at Interface Level.

has someone faced this kind of problem when dealing with MTU.
