Hello Muzammil!

To make the IGMP/MLD process more efficient - only one router is elected as
the querier on the circuit. So the statement "from the time it received the
last query" means that the local router will now take over as it appears the
previous querier is off network or has some other major issue.

You should also consider returning to the command reference from Cisco as this
command must be used with caution. It must be set with two other parameters in
mind - ipv6 mld query-interval and ipv6 mld query-max-response-time. The
command reference provides the formula for setting all three correctly.
