Well, it was alpha, even if they call it beta J I am basing my opinion on
posts on this and other forums: no documentation, low rez monitors, slow
access and connectivity problems. Some people were unable to complete the
lab. To give credit to Cisco, they offered free re-take to some.
For sure I will not be the first to test the final version.

@Jack Router
"....Pearson Vue disaster"?? What went wrong there? I know the lab was/is
to be hosted at certain select sites, was there some beta that went horribly
wrong?

I heard so many times from training vendors that Cisco needs CCIEs and it is
in their own interest to have more CCIEs. So will Cisco do anything about
decreasing numbers ? Unfortunately it is impossible predict. It looks like
CCIE program is run by a bunch of people who have no clue where to go.
Remember the infamous and short lived OEQ waiver program and Pearson Vue
disaster? I expect now just anything from people without project management
skills and worse, with no vision :(

Any news about this ? I heard some rumors saying that they removed the page
because the RS numbers are decreasing... I can't believe
this. All the other numbers are increasing... And there is the information
about CCIEs/country that is very interesting...
Something i found about the subject:

Any news about the missing page ? Maybe one of our Cisco friends member of
this list could try to get some info about this...

It is a secret from now on, by how much the R&S and CCIE numbers are
dropping ?
