Derek,
Ok... This is an example of the messages you will receive with ntp logging.
R4(config)#
May 27 17:10:41.663: NTP Core (INFO): system event 'event_clock_reset'
(0x05) status 'sync_alarm, sync_unspec, 7 events, event_peer/strat_chg'
(0xC074)
May 27 17:10:41.667: NTP Core (NOTICE): Clock synchronization lost.
R4(config)#

Hi Tyson,
It's real world and I just want to be alerted if the switches in the
network loose NTP syncronisation to their NTP sources. I will setup
the ntp logging and also see what I can get out of the ntp mib that
you have referenced and see how that goes. Thanks for the prompt
response.
Cheers,
Derek
