Sorry one more thing to add. With the NTP logging option simply add
"snmp-server enable traps syslog" then your syslog will be sent via snmp to
a management station.

If you are still want to do this simple task with EEM we could talk about it
but I think the answers I have given help with your requirements already.

Subject: Monitoring NTP Association on a router or switch

Hi,

I want to be able to monitor the NTP association of switches/routers
in my network and be notified if the NTP association fails ie if they
are unsynchronised. I can't see any option to send an snmp trap for
NTP. Not sure if you can do this using EEM and whether anyone has
tried to do this before? I assume that it's something that alot of
people will want to know and if so, can you provide the details of how
and how well this works?

Cheers,
Derek
