RE: CCIE LAB FEE--what about re-cert?

Don't forget, to re-cert you have to recite all RFCs from memory while
standing on your head and you will have to re-take the lab, but that
will be random. If you re-cert for R&S, you might receive a voice or
security lab for fun..Updates will no longer be announced, they will
just show up from week to week in the new labs with no explanation.
ISDN, TR, and X.25 will be re-added to the labs, but on random tracks
(see above). If you fail the re-cert, Cisco will cut-off your left-mouse
finger and charge you a royalty fee for every time you say CCIE or Cisco
until your CCIE is current again. Then you will have designation beside
your number in subscript or superscript letting the world know you
failed your re-cert...

You can wait until the end of time but it wont change the fact that it's
100% rumor. We can start some more rumors too if you like:

1) The lab is going back to 2 days

2) You don't get time for lunch

3) You have to run 3 miles in between lab sections during the exam

4) The new price of the lab is $2,000 for the first attempt, $5,000
each additional attempt

lol

I got confirmation from the nice gentleman at Cisco in charge of the
CCIE program. The $1000 lab fee is a nothing more than a rumor.
