Or a week of concentrated study. I knew a few people who passed on a 40 hour
SANS bootcamp. The test supposedly has about a 75% pass rate on the first
try. I put in about a mo of a couple hours a day self study, and it was
overkill. It's a really stupid test. I used Shon Harris and the Official
CBK. Both are poor representations of what you will see on your exam (IMO),
and there are no test banks that come close to the actual wording/style of
the exam. Dumpers and cheaters will have an impossible time with this exam,
well at least until it hits the VUE test centers coming soon.
