I was in no way suggesting that an individual that has passed the R&S since
October 2009 is not the best choice for your bootcamp instructor. He might
indeed be the perfect instructor for you. And I most certainly meant no
disrespect to Kambiz (sp?) and Marko that are contributors and instructors to
this list that recently passed their R&S exams.
When you stated " I have heard that IPexpert is the only company that has
instructor which has passed the new version of CCIE lab", I was afraid that
readers on this list might take this to mean that other training vendors have
CCIE instructors that have tried and failed this new exam. This is not how it
works. Once we pass the lab exam for a track, we are not permitted to take the
lab exam again. So while I would love to go and solve 11 academic Trouble
Tickets in about 44 minutes, I am afraid Cisco does not permit me. :-)
When choosing your bootcamp, I would consider criteria such as the following
to be most important (these are no particular order):
- Compatibility - is your instructor someone that you will enjoy learning
from and be inspired by
- Hands on versus lecture - how much of the experience is lecture versus
hands on practice
- Quality and accuracy of bootcamp materials
- Size of the class
- Qualifications and experience of the instructor
- Contact with your instructor outside the event hours, and following the
event
Best of luck in your important decision process, and again, any further
questions you might have for me about INE, just email me or call me.

mentioned Mr. Morris. But I am confused. Do you mean that someone that has
just passed doesn't know what they are doing? I just want the most current
training that will be relevant to me. I'm sure the intentions either way are
best. Also, can someone tell me when Scott Morris will be teaching the next
routing and switching bootcamp.
