I would suggest that you read the instructions carefully.

If the task ask for you to influence the routes throughout the AS then you
will need to configure local pref

But if the task ask for the routes to be influenced on a single router then
you will need to configure weight.

In the lab if you are given a task to influence route selection based on
weight and local pref.

Can you use both weight and local pref attributes to influence route
selection or use either?
