Another irritating thing is that if you want that gateway of last resort passed on to the downstream routers in EIGRP you will have to redistribute that static route into EIGRP

The default-network command is classful. The route 3.3.3.0/24 is not
classful. Because of this, it becomes a pain in the butt essentially :
) What you will need to do is ip default-network 3.3.3.0 -- this will
add a static route into your routing table to 3.0.0.0/8. THEN you can
issue "ip default-network 3.0.0.0" and it should show up as a cadidate
default as well as the gateway of last resort.
