Unfortunately, I had one of my students attempt a Pearson center for their exam about two weeks ago now.
It was a disaster. Not "little bumps" as someone pointed out here. It was a pure disaster.
There was no access to any of the promised tools; DOC-CD, notepad, calculator, but the worst part was the fact that the four switches were not accessible. There was a flaw in the Graphical User Interface for their access.
While it was a shame to see Cisco beta test this on live candidates, it was nice to see them refund his money, extend his written expiration, and provide him with a free voucher for a retake. Perhaps the most stressful thing about it for him during the entire experience, was hearing the resident non-CCIE proctor repeat over and over again "it is by design" whenever he pointed out these fatal flaws. :-( The fact that he did not completely lose his cool is a testament to his strong psychology for passing.
Warmest Regards,
Anthony J. Sequeira, CCIE #15626
