Hi Mahmoud,

I think you havee to check the 10G compatibility in your cores. 4506 can
support 10G uplinks in supervisors but 4006 couldnt.
Please check "Cisco 10GBASE XENPAK Modules" in the cisco web site for
selection. Also you can check the cable specs which required for connection.

With your new design, you are thinking that access ports will be 10/100/1000
and their uplinks will be 10G. It is really good choice. But you have to
think your new backplane capacity which you could need.
