Hi there,

Before verifying your answer, just at the first glance:

1- The word "within" means "in or inside". So your solution (whatever it is)
does make OSPF re-calculate the stuff between T1=0s and T2=5s that's fine.

2- You use heaps of notation stuff (including exclamation and question
marks)...

Subject: OSPF Convergence !!!

Dear GS,

How to make OSPF topology recalculate SPF within 5 secs on multi-access
(LAN) interfaces ?

These are my solutions
- Change OSPF hello-interval with the command "ip ospf hello-interval 1" or
change OSPF dead-interval with the command "ip ospf dead-interval minimal
hello-multiplier 3" etc.
- Change OSPF SPF interval timer with "timers throttle 1 5000 5000"
- Leave OSPF LSA generation timer with the default value (timers throttle
lsa all 0 5000 5000) <== the default value !!!

The question ask me to "recalculate SPF within 5 secs" if I can do it less
than 5 secs, this will break requirement ???

How about my solutions ??? Any suggestion ???

Big thanks all of you in advance !!!

Best Regards,
Mr. A
