Well technically it will use the CEF table which is derived from your LFIB which is a subset of the LIB.

LIB is basically all the labels you have. Not all of them are necessarily used for switching. The labels used to actually switch traffic get put into your LFIB and finally CEF

Subject: FIB or LFIB ?

Dear *,

I have a basic MPLS question. A LSR uses FIB or LFIB to forward packets ?

Thanks
