It does not.
In fact, all this stuff only matters if you have more than one WAE at
the site, be it remote or central.
Why ? Because what you try to achieve is that "the same" WAE receives
corresponding packets in both directions, or else they will not
"engage". If you have only one WAE, it will receive all the traffic
no matter what group you use.
If you have more than one... then the router should choose the same
WAE for both directions. This is done by hashing SIP (source IP) in one
case and DIP (destination IP) in the other. What you do at central is
independent from branches.
