Hi guys,

I have topology as below

I have a subnet 172.16.9.0/24 being learnt from EIGRP domain and from MPLS
cloud

I want to preffer route via EIGRP domain
and back is MPLS cloud route

 EBGP
1) MPLS CE1 and SW2
2) MPLS CE1 and SW1
3) MPLS CE2 and SW2
4) MPLS CE2 and SW1

EBGP to EIGRP redistribution at SW1 and SW2 .....

                 |SUBNET 172.16.9.0/24 learning from MPLS remote site
                      |
 |-------------- MPLS CLOUD |
| |
MPLS CE1 MPLS CE2
|1.1.1.1 | 1.1.1.2
| |
FW 1 1.1.1.3 FW2 1.1.1.4
| 2.2.2.1 | 2.2.2.2
| 2.2.2.3 |2.2.2.4
SW1 SW2
| |
|----------EIGRP DOMAIN-----------|
                 |
                 |
           learning 172.16.9.0/24 from EIGRP domain

I want to prefer route to 172.16.9.0/24 on sw1 and SW2 always via EIGRP ,
and only use EBGP learned 172.16.9.0/24 when 172.16.9.0/24 is not learned
via EIGRP.

I chaged the distance of EBGP on SW1 and SW2 to 171 .

But then routes get looped , 172.16.9.0 next hop on Sw1 is SW2
and on Sw2 next hop is SW1 for 172.16.9.0/24

Please advise how to avoid LOOP and still matching my condition -

1) routes traffic via eigrp domain to 172.16.9.0/24
2) If route not learnt via eigrp domain then route via EBGP to MPLS CE
routers ( EBGP )

Regards
Jack
