Hi Cyrus,
Me and my two friends were unfortunate to fall into this exact
situation. We were caught by the 12 months max interval between lab
attempts. It was January and we wanted to schedule our labs for June.
But as the 12 months after our first attempt would expire March, the
Cisco lab scheduler bounced us off stating clearly that we could only
schedule dates before March period. (Its the same for the 18 months
max for first attempt and probably all other written expiry cases)
I think as Dale observed it seems unfair as there was enough time
within the interval for us to take the written but i suppose making an
assumption that a candidate will take the written exam within the
interval might make things more complicated since Cisco cannot
guarantee such.
So we are retaking the written exam to expand our scheduling window.
BTW we did not contact Cisco.
