Hello Vibeesh,

Adding to what all others have replied, look through recent history in
this mailing list. I posted elaborate setup using neighbor fall-over
combined with IP SLA tracking and even EEM peer deactivation.

Also, you may want to explore BFD, if your hardware supports it.
