Applying QOS on ADSL router, "GTS not supported on this

Hi folks,

I've got 870 router for a small branch and QOS needs to be configured on
this router.

At the final stage I just faced the problem that service-policy output SHAPE
could not attach to ATM interface of the router. I got this error "*GTS not
supported on this interface*"

I know there are couple of ways other than this exist to limit the rate of
the interface but I cannot use any child policy

class-map match-all VOICE
 match access-group 100
policy-map SHAPE
 class class-default
  shape average 800000

policy-map QUEUE
 class VOICE
  priority 200

interface ATM0.1
(config-subif)#service-policy output SHAPING
 GTS : Not supported on this interface

So what is the workaround for this problem ?
