Verifying WRR

Hi All

I was just trying verify WRR .
Say I had cos 0 in queue 1 ; cos 1 in queue 2 ..... cos 7 in queue 8
The weights that I have given to 8 queues are 10 , 20 , 30 .... 80 (
ratio 1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8 )

My switchport is 1 gbps .

I have following queries :

1) Since my port is 1 gbps and device which i connect to port is
sending 100 mbps only .. how can i actually congest the port ( any way
)
2) Is there any other way to check the ratio of dropped frames
