Hi GS,

after configuring the PE - CE router connectivity as well the MP-BGP between the two PE router I came into the next problem with the sham-link.
I configure it between the two MP-BGP routers. These routers are established.
But the sham-link doesn't came up !??
I would like to configure the sham-link "area 0 sham-link <source ip> <des ip>
This are in MP-BGP as a 32 bit address (lo100) and up !!
I also need to configure on both sides a virtual link because of the partitioned area 0 !
So on the first router this works because the neighbor is only one hop away.
But on the other router I need a virtual link to an ABR (area0 -> area 1) which is over 3 routers...this link doesn't come up and also on the ABR I don't saw the message from a virtual link...
MAybe there are any restrictions for virtual-links regarding vrf ?!?!

I hope the problem is explained clearly...;-))

Dennis
