Hi gurus,

My apologies in advance for this off topic. Did anyone sucessfully install
VMware workstation 7 on Win7?

Am getting this error "failed to create the requested registry key:
Installer Error:1021"

I have read several suggestion including manually adding "VMware, Inc." to
the registry ; others suggested changing the compatibility mode to XP; some
change the time zone to US..lol.., (I recide in the timezone Canada/US
MDT)..so timezone cannot be the issue

I have tried all these sugestion to no avail.

Responses appreciated

Regards,
