I believe you found just another nice example of an error in Cisco
documentation. I found a nice one in Catalyst QoS section the other
day when they have pretty wrong flowchart in place. You know, with
such vast documentation and many clever eyes, we're bound to find
silly mistakes from time to time.
Btw. we just released a new audio on demand product on Friday that
covers policing, shaping and syntax involved in great detail. You
