Re: vendors in the chicago area

I'm assuming you are looking for "international bootcamps near my
location", correct? Because although my world geography may be a
little rusty, I'm PRETTY sure that Eastern Canada and Nigeria aren't even
close to each! :)

As I'm sure you can relate, there are customers all over the world in
LOTS of locations that would love for classes to occur near them, and
simply not everyone can be serviced directly. I know I have done work in
Montreal and Toronto in the past but haven't done much more east than
that. Halifax was a beautiful town (did two exams there back in the
day), but never did classes there.

With any location/vendor, it takes a little bit to ascertain how many
people may be interested in the business decision to kick off a class.
Being American, I'm familiar with the ease of getting IN to Canada. It
may not be safe to assume the opposite is true though. I know that other
countries may have visa issues getting into the US for a class, do
Canadians have the same issues in getting down here?

      Hi guys,
I passed my CCIE R&S written exam about 6 months ago, but its

    about

now that I have the time to start focusing on my lab training.
I have 10 years of hands-on experience and most of the cisco and juniper
professional level certifications, but I feel no near prepared for the

    lab

exam, I lack hands on experience on key topics such as BGP, MPLS and

    frame

      relay.

Anyway, I started by reviewing all the theory again, and I feel like
starting with hands-on training now, I have no idea in terms of which lab
workbooks should I get and which vendors are out there, I certainly dont

    know

if I can afford a bootcamp, but if I do, it wouldnt be now but on a

    closer

date to my exam date, which I dont expect to be at list until september.
ANyways, I live at chicago and was wondering if anyone knows about good
vendors on this area, and also about the workbooks and rack rental time.

Im asking here cause you guys know what ur talking about and when I

    googled

for this info I got flooded by an insane ammount of info.

any recommendations will be highly appreciated!!

      thank you all!
