Datacenter upgrade

Hi All,

I am working on a network upgrade task and will be connecting new
core/distribution switches to existing core.

I just want to introduce new setup to existing eigrp/stp/vtp etc. with
production core and need to make sure no existing traffic passes through it.
Core 1 is root for few vlans and core2 root for many vlans.

[ New Core ]_____[Old core1]
                \____[Old Core2]

I've configured switch with higher bridge ID and I will reset vtp revision
number before connecting to existing core.
What else I need to take care here ??
