Just get the fibre re-terminated with SC connectors. You could get a
female LC connector and convert it to SC, it will increase the end to
end dB loss on the link (every splice or connector in the link adds
loss, though I have seen expensive fibre splicing equipment that can
splice with 0dB loss) but unless it is near the limits of the spec
shouldn't effect anything. What distance between the 6500's?
