Re: WOT: nexus 1000v on vmware wokstation

Just FTR, it can be done.
I'm not still sure how, but it IS working now.

So far seems to be a fact that you can not do vlans (802.1q) with the
workstation vswitch. Then, the control vlan needs a way to go from
the VEM to the VSM. L3 mode, that could have been an alternative, still
needs a VLAN on the ESX.

The trick seems to have the VEM be in charge of the pnic that carries
the VEM-VSM traffic. Either native vlan on a trunk or an access port.
