Hi Nate!
I developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome during my prep. Please make sure you see a physician.
I ended up sleeping with these on and it was a rather miraculous cure for me (albeit a bit annoying since I always sleep with one of my hands or arms under my face.)

On days it was too painful to pound the keyboard, I used a mix of Cisco Press, DOC-CD, vendor videos (I bet you can guess which vendor), and vendor workbooks. I often found that I developed a writing style with a pen that caused virtually no pain, so I would also write out configurations based on a vendor practice lab.
Please be very careful about this and follow a physicians advice since it can get super serious and require surgery to repair.
All the very best my friend!
Warmest Regards,
Anthony J. Sequeira, CCIE #15626
