Re: police vs police cir - command

seems to me, two commands "to do" the same thing, with different option
trees under each path...

Looks like you can throw 'police rate' in the mix also...

R1(config-pmap-c)#police ?
  <8000-2000000000> Bits per second
  cir Committed information rate
  rate Specify police rate

R1(config-pmap-c)#police cir ?
  <8000-2000000000> Bits per second
  percent % of interface bandwidth for Committed information rate

R1(config-pmap-c)#police rate ?
  <1-2000000000> Rate value in the range 8000-2,000,000,000 bps or
1-2,000,000 pps
  percent % of interface bandwidth for rate
