multicast and v4 blue print

routing TCP/IP vol2 discuses a number of multicast protocols including:

Distance Vector Multicast Routing Protocol (DVMRP)

Multicast OSPF (MOSPF)

Core-Based Trees (CBT)

Protocol-Independent Multicast, Dense Mode (PIM-DM)

Protocol-Independent Multicast, Sparse Mode
(PIM-SM)
Now regarding v4 blueprint, should I be concerned with other or just directly do IGMP, PIM-SM/DM and related stuff.
