C38xx has 4 NM slots ..
So if you plug in SIXTEEN-PORT ASYNCHRONOUS/SYNCHRONOUS SERIAL NETWORK
MODULE (NM-16A/S) in each of this ..
you are getting 48 serial ports ..

In addition to this .. you have 4 HWIC slots as well .. so in each of
HWIC slot you can use HWIC-4T .. so 16 more serial ports ..

I think this should work but some how i have not tested all this
plugged in .. Just give it a try ..

But this is keeping in mind that you are looking only for smart serail ports .
