OT: cisco 6513 hybrid to native with dual SUP

Dears,

I am into migration activity from hybrid to native for our 6500 switches.
Have gone through cisco docs, utilities etc ..

Just wanna know if someone performed this and any advice. I am planning to
do the following.

Step1: Remove the standby SUP from the slot.
Step2: Backup of all images + config on the active SUP.
Step3: Config procedure from hybrid to native as specified in cisco doc.

This will hopefully migrate the active sup to native ios.

I have read in some site that we have to do the same for the standby sup? Is
that true? Or can I just plugin the standby SUP and hope that it will get
synched with the active SUP in terms of everything? I am very doubtful in
this approch.

Hope I would get some insights here from experts.
